Protein Pancakes

Protein is a must for an athlete, for our cells to function properly. Whether running sprints, swimming long distances or lifting weights, athletes expand more energy than the average person and their bodies need additional nutrients to recover from intense physical activity.

Apart from being beneficial for athletes, Protein is a key part of a healthy, balanced diet. It’s important because your body uses protein for the production of various compounds and enzymes that play a role in the immune system. 

Our regular meals will not provide enough proteins, as we usually load ourselves in the morning with carbs and fat Forex. Puri sabzi, Idli Chutney, VadaPav, etc. You got to start your day with a healthy breakfast, Protein pancakes is a fluffy, healthy and delicious breakfast recipe.

Not only are these pancakes high in protein, but they are also low in calories. They only have a few ingredients which make them so simple to whip up in the morning

For us, breakfast should be one of our major meals providing 1/3rd of our daily protein. To meet our daily requirement of proteins, start your day with this delicious protein pancakes. Here, in this recipe – we are adding Vanilla Flavoured Whey Pro Performance.

Makes  8 – 10 mini pancake

Protein per mini pancakes: 8.6gms

Ingredients:

2 scoops of Whey Pro Performance Vanilla
2 cups of rolled oats
1 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
2 eggs

Method

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixer, till the oats are powdered well.
  2. Add 2 eggs and milk until well blended scraping sides to make sure batter is mixed completely.
  3. Take a ladleful of batter and pour it over the greased non-stick pan.
  4. Cook it from both the end and serve hot.
